Daniel Moore (b.1991) is an American artist practicing and teaching in Ruston, Louisiana. He earned an MFA with a concentration in 2D Studio Art at the Louisiana Tech University School of Design in 2018. Daniel's paintings have been exhibited in spaces in the southern United States such as the Brinson Art Gallery in Magnolia, Arkansas, the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts in Lubbock, Texas, and the Durango Arts Center in Colorado. Selections from his current series, Towers, have been featured in New American Paintings, Studio Visit Magazine, and Creative Quarterly.

Towers is an exploration of a geographic area as its population size and physical landscape change. It is about the relationship between place and time and our understanding of a space as it evolves. The group consists of shaped paintings. “I focus on the structure and color of man-made objects protruding from the natural landscape. Cut from dense fiberboard and then painted, the shapes are graphic and minimal as I reduce information from the environment to only the landmarks I use to navigate the landscape.”
